Advancing regenerative cotton through regenagri®
ECOM has been an active partner in the regenagri® programme since 2022, when we became the first cotton trader to achieve regenagri Chain of Custody certification. Through this partnership, we work alongside farmers, supply chain partners and industry stakeholders to support the transition toward regenerative agriculture– building supply chains that are traceable, credible, and scalable.
Recent developments across the regenagri network highlight how regenerative practices are increasingly being embedded beyond the farm level, extending into manufacturing and global supply chains. The certification of Candiani as the first regenagri®-certified denim mill marks an important step in strengthening traceability from fibre to finished product.
Our collaboration has already delivered tangible results, including EU-made Regenagri-certified cotton from Spain and the USA cotton pool by sustainability-focused Quarterway Cotton Growers, supporting Candiani’s transition toward 100% regenerative sourcing. This partnership reflects our commitment to the highest sustainability standards and our role as a supply chain enabler connecting farmers, certification systems, and manufacturers.
