Better Cotton Conference 2025
Last month, the Better Cotton Conference was held in Izmir, Turkey, convening industry leaders to explore some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing the cotton sector today.

The conferences' agenda focused on four key themes:
-
• Nurturing Equality: A Fairer Future for Farming Communities
-
• Restoring the Environment: Turning Climate Commitments into Action
-
• Deepening Impact with Data: Unlocking Insights for a Stronger Cotton Industry
-
• Shaping our Future: Policy, Collaboration and Industry Evolution
The event brought together an impressive group of stakeholders from across the cotton value chain– including farmers, brands, NGOs, and policymakers– united by a shared commitment to making cotton production more sustainable and inclusive. Key conversations focused on climate action, smallholder livelihoods, and the shift towards regenerative agriculture.

Our ECOM representatives attending the event– including Marco Antonio, Zarina Giyasova, and Celeste Lilore– also had the opportunity to visit a local spinning mill, pictured below!
