Meet Yazmin: Global Carbon Manager

“Since October 2022, my role entails two enjoyable phases: co-creating the climate strategy together with my team members, designing concrete steps for ECOM to achieve its climate targets, and fulfilling client carbon commitments on the products we sell. I am also responsible for all the Scope 3 carbon quantification, Measurement, Reporting, & Verification (MRV), and designing systems to measure and improve climate resilience for our sourcing regions.
My role focuses largely on designing carbon and sustainability projects in origin to reduce carbon emissions, and improve productivity and farmer well-being. I particularly enjoy being connected to the field and listening to the stories of farmers to learn from the ground and to understand their needs.
At the beginning, my tasks were more focused on monitoring, reporting and trying to solve emergencies. We are now turning to governance, collaboration across teams and strategic decisions for cost-efficient decarbonisation and farmer resilience.
What I enjoy most is bringing impact and values to farmers in the projects we design, and driving change in the organisation for a more sustainable business that can be enjoyed by generations to come.”
AMS Cameroon celebrates International Women's Day
Agroproduce Management Services (AMS) in Cameroon marked International Women’s Day on March 6th by organising a three-day programme that brought together more than 65 women across its operations. The initiative was shaped by active participation, with employees leading and contributing throughout.
Day one focused on community within the workplace. Employees gathered at the Head Office in Tiko, each bringing food to share, collectively serving over 100 colleagues. The day also included discussions on professional development, health awareness, and personal growth, with contributions from leadership and functional teams.
Day two extended this spirit beyond the workplace. Through contributions from employees, AMS supported the Bulu Blind Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Buea. Activities included donating essential items and volunteering time to clean and support the facility, creating meaningful engagement with the children and staff.

Finally, day three, held in Douala, aligned with national celebrations and provided space for reflection and connection. A session on the theme “Give to Gain” highlighted the value of intentional actions, followed by a shared moment of celebration among colleagues.
Across the three days, the programme highlighted a consistent theme: collective action and contribution can create meaningful impact, both within teams and in the wider community.

London office attends cocoa & coffee workshop
Our London office recently attended a cocoa and coffee workshop hosted by Cacao Latitudes and London School of Coffee.
The day was a great opportunity for our new joiners to get to know our cocoa and coffee supply chains, from farm to table– and of course to try some of our finest chocolate and coffee offerings!
A big thank you to all those who participated and to our hosts for organising such an informative and exciting day.
