Breast Cancer Awareness Month at ECOM
x
ECOM Ghana
As part of this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ECOM Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to employee health and well-being by organizing an educational session and breast cancer screening for staff at both the Accra and Kumasi offices.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness, encourage regular screening, and empower employees with practical knowledge on prevention and early detection. Health professionals led interactive talks on risk factors and lifestyle habits that can help reduce the likelihood of developing breast cancer, followed by private on-site screening and guidance for further care where needed.
The day reflected ECOM Ghana’s broader commitment to fostering a healthy and supportive workplace, one where physical and mental well-being are valued alongside professional growth. Filled with shared stories, learning, and encouragement, the event reinforced a vital message: early detection saves lives.

EISA, Brazil
In Brazil, EISA joined the Pink October campaign with activities across all branches, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and self-care.
Employees attended an informative talk on breast cancer awareness and received small gifts as a token of appreciation and solidarity.
Through initiatives like this, EISA continues to champion a culture of health, care, and awareness, reminding everyone that taking time for self-care is the first step in protecting what matters most.

ECOM Nicaragua
In honour of International Breast Cancer Awareness Day, ECOM Nicaragua held an informational virtual talk for the fourth consecutive year, open to employees across the country.
The activity aimed to promote awareness and early detection of breast cancer, emphasising the importance of prevention and overall health care.
The session was led by Dr. Karla Blandón García, a gynaecologist-obstetrician, who covered key topics such as risk factors, signs and symptoms, the importance of breast self-examinations, diagnostic methods, and available treatment options.
As part of a preventive health approach, ECOM Nicaragua also provided medical examination packages (including breast ultrasounds and gynaecological consultations) to employees in PPC Sébaco, Managua Offices, Jinotega, and Ocotal, encouraging timely diagnosis and comprehensive care.
Through this initiative, ECOM Nicaragua continues to strengthen its commitment to the well-being and health of its employees, fostering an organisational culture focused on prevention and healthy living.
